Tentative Jan 18 for Falcon Heavy Launch

Ok, so the monster rocket is set to launch "no earlier than January 18th. The time is TBD, so we'll see if that all pushes. It's already tipped in to position at 39, so she's ready to fuel and do a static burn. They have hydrogen and oxygen in the cryo bottles because the warning beacons and stand-off lights are on, so they're ready to go.

I can't wait for this bad boy to rock and roll! This is the window buster we've been waiting for.

Lots of rumors around today that the final stage of the Zuma payload may have failed and been lost in space. I'll update when/if I find out more. Lot of gossip going on today at the Space Center and the Cape. No one is jumping to conclusions here, because all of the software would have been USAF proprietary, so any electronic failure would be all .Gov, but a mechanical failure would be Space-X. Although they could also be tied together as well.

Holeee Shit!! They test fired the Falcon Heavy yesterday and man oh man that thing is LOUD!!!

We were over by the VAB and the whole world shook! I had just come out of the OSB 2 with a friend and they lit that fucker up. We just stood there and listened and waited for the pressure wave too hit. It was something else man! Way different from the Shuttle, I'll tell you what!

Can't wait to see that thing get in the air, 'cause when it does, it's going to be three times as loud when it gets out of the flame bucket. She put up a hell of a cloud of steam as well!
