    You could do some pretty serious work with the Rem or Schrade.

    Sir Jim, could you please post a pic of the Klaas?. The one in the link provided is a China made version that someone is trying to pass off as the real deal. Note the "since 1834" stamp on the blade in pic #2 of the re listed item = not German. That's maybe a 15 buck knife their pumping as vintage.

    Hope the pic's look OK.
    As you can see the Klaas is German made as are the Schlieper Eye Brand knives. I said the knife was similar to the link I provided,I don't have china knives .
    Thanks for the interest. Been a long time since I took pic's for the computer.

    There's a pretty nice 96 SAE in that pic, starting to tone around the date. I'd like to trade it if anyone's interested.
