Don't get too excited, Dave. Nobody said it was a paid vacation.

Working to commence to begin formulating a new and updated signature that will fully and faithfully at a minimum meet and or exceed the standards expected of all participating in this nobel forum.

On the road again, in northern Florida right now sitting in a Honda service room waiting to have the check engine light figured out. Bad stuff can happen when you're supposed to be having fun.

You do know that for about 20 bucks you can have your own scanner.......

I'm betting your minimum repair will be around 750 for them to do nothing more than erase the code

Far more complicated than that. Besides, had it been that, I'd have known what was wrong and code did not tell them either, I told them what it did, how it acted and what I did to clear the indications. With that info, they went right to work and fixed it for me. They worked me in, had to let the engine cool to work on it and I was outta there to be on my way. Might have been my rough and knurled hands and the way I talk. Always respectful, polite but to the point.
