Instead of deleting the offensive topics (or those that degraded into offensiveness), let them remain in The Trash category for posterity.

Any serious disagreements could be chucked into another forum altogether.

Good point, I'll do that for now on.

I check here daily, and bannings & thread removals happen so fast I don't get to review what happened.

I say:

1. A forum tends to police itself. Let the public make their own rebuke to offensive posts, allow the moderators to throw flags, but Main has the final authority and I suggest that he have the exclusive right to ban.

2. Move the offensive thread to The Trash for reference instead of deleting it, so there is no guessing as to what happened and why.
