 Re: Banana Republic
Yes, I read that article. Very good.
Also, I've recently seen videos from Zimbabwe and they are trading gold particles for food. No more fiat (of course its worthless).. but no mention of silver.

 Re: Banana Republic
Thats because Gold is prevalent in that part of the world, not silver.

Great minds think alike...I thought the exact same thing. They use gold because you can pan for it and dig for it. check this out, it is very sad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ubJp6rmUYM

 Re: Banana Republic
Schiff brings it again, Great article. Here's a little nugget I mined from the article,,, Bernanke himself admits that we are in uncharted waters, with no map or compass, just simply a hope that more dollars are the answer. This really inspires confidence. I'm confident we are in deep trouble.

 Canada's RE Bubble
This site has the real low down on the housing bubbles in Canada, Australia and Briton. The bubbles are now popping. It is an excellent site with many interesting folks and comments. It has some more puzzle pieces that may help all of us better figure out the near future. The Mad Vlad has many very interesting links. The blog owner is not a fan of PM's but gives much advice on other topics. http://www.greaterfool.ca/
